内田百閒アンソロジー

作家、小川洋子さんが選んだ内田百閒の作品集。
百鬼園先生のユーモアのある歯切れのよいエッセイは好きで
読んでいたのですが、小説ははじめて。

読んでみるとエッセイの淡々とした文体からは
想像がつかないような、夢と現を行き来する妖しい芳醇な世界。

「正しく古いものは、常に新しい」という言葉がありますが、
まさにそれを感じた読書時間となりました。
