モース「100年前の日本」

エドワード・S・モースの「100年前の日本」を手に入れました、
江戸末期から明治にかけての写真が並んでいて、何枚かはカラー写真に
処理してあります。
浮世絵に出てきそうな恰好をした人々やまだのんびりとした銀座の様子
などを見ていると今の日本の風景との断絶を感じたり、当時の人々の屈
託のない表情をみると、僕らと同じように日々泣き笑いしながら暮らし
ていたのだろうなぁ・・と共感を感じたり、
眺めているといろいろな事を感じます。
